Fusion Just Leveled Up — 3D Graphics & VHS FX with Vonk Ultra (DaVinci Resolve) (Part 2)
In this Part 2 of my Vonk Ultra series, we're diving deeper into the creative power of this underrated toolset inside DaVinci Resolve's Fusion page.
This video focuses on building motion graphics using the vMograph tools — specifically the 3D shape generators like vJSONPointsOnSphere, vJSONCameraProjection, vJSONPointsOnCube, and vJSONPointsOnCircle. I also show how you can link expressions to Vonk Ultra nodes to make dynamic data-based visuals, such as auto-counting text elements based on the number of animated points.
In the second half, I shift into more artistic territory — showing how I use Vonk Ultra nodes to create CRT/VHS retro-style effects, and composite those effects onto anime footage for a stylized, nostalgic look.
